Drop dead gorgeous early 1900's antique Laughlin large pitcher decorated with winged cherubs in various poses. A beautiful soft greenish aqua and white is the background for the charming cherub decor on this gorgeous old vase. Pretty decorative applied handle with scalloped upper and lower rims. No chips, cracks or fractures but does have some chippy paint glaze and that beautiful crazing. The pitcher is the ornate Hudson shape but I don't know the cherub pattern name. Often, the patterns of many of these old pieces remain a mystery. Measures 6-1/2" tall and is approx. 7" from spout to handle. Has backstamp on underside but very hard to decipher. Says: Homer Laughlin Hudson with the L logo. This fabulous piece just begs for fresh pink roses or carnations or a cottage bouquet. Very romantic and graceful.
